The Look Of Love
“Where you see love first is in the eyes, and that is The Look Of Love”
- Ilaria Lanzoni
Envisioned as a celebration of romantic, familial and self-love, The Look of Love transcends age, language and tradition.
The collection is inspired by a childhood nickname, voglus, meaning “eyes”, given to Ilaria and her sisters by their adoring grandmother in her northern Italian dialect. Her love was always conveyed through the sparkle in her eyes.
Throughout history, eyes have been embraced cross-culturally as symbols of protection and virtue. Yet, beyond the universal narrative of the eye as a powerful icon, eyes possess a profoundly personal story. Within their depths eyes tell of one’s journey, expressing deep emotion through these glimmering windows to the soul.
